| The Kitsap Peninsula Soccer Referees Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the education, professional support, service, and game assigning of soccer referees in Kitsap, Clallam, Jefferson and Mason Counties. Our goal is to assist all referees to grow in their pursuit of excellence in the officiating profession. We are an equal opportunity organization, encouraging the young, the minority, the new, and the experienced referee.
Education and Professional Support
- Entry level clinics - These 5 day clinics, which focus on the Laws of the Game, are the first step in the development of a referee. KPSRA instructors give 5 - 6 Entry Level Clinics, throughout the 4 counties, each year.
- Instructional Monthly Meetings - During the fall season KPRSA meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of September, October, and November and the 1st Wednesday of December. Instruction starts at 6:30pm. We also meet the 2nd Wednesday of February, March, April, and May. See the website Calendar for meeting time and place
- Mentoring - for those referees interested, KPSRA will provide a mentor, who will help the referee achieve success on the field. These mentors are senior referees with many years experience.
- Formal and Informal Assessment - these assessments are used to determine the proficiency level of the referee, and to give the referee specific, positive, suggestions on how to improve his/her level of performance
Service
- Our KPSRA members have full access to our KPSRA web-site, which is an interactive database of soccer games in our assigning area.
- Re-certification and Up-grade - KPSRA will help you through the paper work, testing and assessment of the re-certification and up-grade process.
